Kedar Dan-ןד רדק


Dan Kedar, Painter. b. 1929, Tel Aviv. Studies: at age 11 Histadrut Art Studio with Aharon Avni, Yehezkel Streichman and Avigdor Stematsky; 1949 Bezalel, Jerusalem, with Ardon; Cameri Theatre School; 1956-57 Old Vic Theatre, London, production and set design. Joined Drama Department of Bristol University. Teaching: 1969-75 Directed School of Theatre Art, Ramat Gan; 1975-79 worked as director of Cameri Theatre and Army Groups; 1977 “Cite des Arts”, Paris. 1969 Returned to painting. Published articles in newspapers “Maariv”, “Ha-aretz” and “Musag”. From 1987 a member of the Council for Culture and Art Plastic Arts Group. Lived in Tel Aviv.

Ruth Kestenbaum Ben Dov, Painter. b. 1961, Washington, U.S.A. Immigrated 1979. Studies: 1979 and 1984 Summer Studies, U.S.A., painting; 1986 Bezalel, Jerusalem; 1987 advanced studies, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, art history; 1992 Kerem Institute, science, humanities and Judaism. Prize: 1993 Ministry of Science and the Arts, Prize for a Young Artist.

'70 - '80 - stage and costume designer, Taganka Theater, Moscow; teacher of painting, Moscow School of Young Artists. Repatriated to Israel in 1990. Lives in Maaleh Adumim, Jerusalem. The works by Boris Karafelov can be found in galleries and private collections in Israel, Russia, USA, Holland, Spain, and Germany.

Karavanov Boris-סירוב בונברק


Karavanov Boris was born in 1950 near Minsk, USSR. Graduated as an artist and architect from Minsk Academy of Fine Arts. Studied painting in the Workshop of Prof. Baranovsky. Taught architecture and drawing at Minsk Academy of Fine Arts and painting in the Minsk Art College. Member of Artists' Association in the Republic of Belarus (1994). Immigrated to Israel in 1994. Member of Painters and Sculptors Association in Israel (1998). Solo exhibitions of the lust years: 1996: Matusevich Gallery, Tel-Aviv, Israel. 1996: Beit Daniel, Tel-Aviv, Israel. 1997: Beit Canada, Ramat-Gan, Israel. 1998: The Fine Arts' Center, Rishon-Le-Zion, Israel.

Kheifetz Anna-הנא ץפיח


Kheifetz Anna was born in the USSR. She graduated the Petersburg Art College in 1995. She immigrated to Israel in 1995 and since 1996 lives in Safed, where she paints and exhibits her work in her own gallery. Anna paints landscapes and portraits, specialized in water color. She dose also books illustrations. She had few one-woman exhibitions in Russia. Her works are held in many private collections in Russia, Germany, Canada and other countries. The pictures presented here were painted both in Petersburg, Russia, and in Israel.

Kletzel Benjamin was born in 1932 in Pervomaisk (near Odessa, USSR). Since 1941 lived in Tashkent. Graduated from Art Department of Tashkent Theater and Art Institute (1967). Moved to Samara in 1967. Member of USSR Artists Union (1976). Repatriated to Israel in 1990. Member of Israeli Artists Union (1991). Awards: 1995: The Ish Shalom Prize winner, Jerusalem.
